Job Summary:

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Senior Copywriter will manage a talented team of copywriters and collaborate with our product, creative, and digital teams to elevate Collette’s voice and brand position. The Senior Copywriter will concept, write, proof, and edit content that adheres to Collette’s voice and brand standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assume a lead role in the development of creative, compelling, and strategically sound advertising, promotion and marketing concepts for all media channels.
• Explore new, strategic, profitable, and creative ways to provide content and conversation in new media channels.
• Provide in-depth knowledge and comprehensive writing skills to the creative team.
• Concept and create copy for integrated marketing campaigns.
• Possess expertise in writing across all promotional tactics and be able to tackle routine copy needs with minimal supervision.
• Drive the creation of marketing materials, including newsletters, flyers, print ad, emails, social and blog posts.
• Collaborate with project leads to develop concepts that meet predetermined objectives and strategies.
• May be called on to act as creative lead on proposed projects.

Job Requirements:

• Strong writing, proofreading and copyediting skills.
• Must be organized and able to meet tight deadlines.
• 6-8 years of copywriting experience.
• Degree in English, Journalism or Communications.
• Knowledge of SEO, organic search and search engine marketing.
• Ability to quickly research and compile information from internal and external sources.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Solid grammar, spelling and proofing skills.
• Experience with WordPress, Sitecore and Adobe Creative Suite helpful.
• Digital portfolio of compelling work.
• A Passion for Marketing & Advertising.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
• Is detail oriented with a strong ability to research and problem solve.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
