Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities of this role include:
Peraton is looking for a Scrum Master to support the Threat Products and Services (TPS) with support to the Specialized Warfighter Development Center (SWDC) program. The job location is at the government location, on Schriever SFB, CO.
Primary Responsibilities of this role include:

Coordinate the efforts and collaboration of dedicated teams

Facilitate team events such as iteration planning, iteration reviews, retrospectives and daily standups, and support activities such as backlog refinement

Work with Product Owners to maintain a backlog of work and identify iteration priorities, scope, and goals

Identify, eliminate, and escalate issues that are inhibiting team performance
-
Drive team improvements while measuring team outputs and performance
-
Communicate with Agile Release Train (ART) Leadership and outside stakeholders, as well as communicate information down to the teams

Organize cross-team/cross-ART collaboration efforts

Protect teams from uncontrolled expansion of work and unachievable commitments

Coach teams and partner with ART leadership to foster agile principles, values, practices, tools, and the SAFe framework

Provides software engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements

Makes recommendations and advises on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts

Performs risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.
This role requires candidates to be on-site daily, in a SCIF, with no option for remote/hybrid work.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, 5+ years related experience; 3+ Years with Masters; 0+ Years with PhD; 9+ years with HS/GED
- Demonstrates hands-on experience as a Scrum Master, Team Lead, Project Lead, or similar role leading agile process or teams
- Knowledgeable in Agile principles, practices, and methods
- Proven experience leading Agile teams or coaching and mentoring others
- Proven experience delivering products from Agile Teams (such as Software or Code Development)
- Must be able to identify risks, clear blockers/barriers to development tasks
- Must have a proven personality that is capable of leading and motivating teams to perform
- Must have the ability to achieve results against tight timelines
- Must have demonstrated ability to be flexible, pivot to priorities, solutioning for unexpected problems or barriers presented as challenges to routine development or priorities
- Must have an Active SECRET clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Holds a recognized Scrum Master certification e.g. CSM, PSM I, SSM
- Must have strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Routine knowledge in manipulating Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA and Confluence)
- Expert knowledge of software development lifecycle, operations, and practices
