General Summary
The Screen & Window Repair Associate is responsible for completing store services for our customers. These services include chain and blade sharpening, screen and window repair, lamp repair, knife and scissor sharpening and more. Applicants should have a good working knowledge of hand and power tools. This position is part-time as needed and will range from 12-28 hours per week.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Customer Service:

• Provide a positive representation of Ace Hardware of Rome.
• Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
• Ensure all services are completed promptly, courteously and effectively.
• Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.

Store Operations

• Assist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment.
• Assist with providing a clean and orderly workspace.
• Communicate any Store Support Center issue to General Manager for follow up.
• Participate in store meetings.
• Be professional in appearance and actions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Other Essential Requirements:
Education/Training
High School or GED equivalent.

Experience
Experience with working with hand and power tools is required.

Physical Demands
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 80lbs) and climbing.

Good working knowledge of hand tools is required.
