We are looking for a School Psychologist to join our team and provide Psycho-educational evaluations to students who have been identified or referrred as needing special education and/or related services. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing academic/mental health issues, collaborating with teachers and other staff members, attend case conferences meetings, and complete required paperwork within the appropriate time frame. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to determine initial or continued eligibility for special education services.
• Complete full reports related to evaluations.
• Attend Case Conference meetings to interpret evaluation results and offer reccomendations based on individual student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
• Provide crisis intervention services when needed.
• Conduct research on best practices in school psychology.
• Additional responsibilities that may be required.

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• School psychology: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified School Psychologist (Required)
• Illinois School Psychologist (Preferred)
