Job Description
The Air Traffic Control (ATC) Division of BAE Systems is looking for a SCA Material Coordinator to help support various aspects of Supply Chain Management. The selected candidate will be assisting various projects over multiple contracts to ensure continued supply support. This support could consist of shipping, receiving, procurement, export, transportation, warehousing, data entry, etc. The position is on site at Patuxent River NAS. This position will heavily focus on tracking Government Property (GP) in the Work in Progress (WIP) state in various labs.

The selected individual will be working with government customers, BAE Systems employees, and other contractors on-site. The four dimensions of customer service – time, dependability, communication, and convenience – will be a focus of the role to ensure the continued support and trust of our customer.

Responsibilities will include the coordination of material movements and the proper care of government and BAE Systems material. Duties for this position will include physical exertion such as lifting (no more than 40lbs), stooping, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, and climbing ladders. Hazardous materials are part of the work environment. The selected candidate will be required to adhere to the BAE Systems safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and other forms of safety instruments.

The hourly rate for this position is set by the Dept of Labor and is not negotiable. Current rate is $29.05/hr.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience with inventory control, verifying material against receiving documents, and coordinating shipments/shipment documentation
Ability to pass background check to gain access to US navy installations and other customer sites
Some college coursework completed
Knowledge of export shipping using FedEx FICE
Experience with data entry/tracking applications
Excellent data entry skills
Customer service oriented and self motivated
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience with Microsoft Office
Willingness to work extra hours and flex hours if necessary

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience in Costpoint or other procurement database
Experience with Navy ERP and DataFlex
Familiar with IMMS / LIMS
Experience with financial tracking
Supply oriented background
Current / Previously held CAC or cleared background
