Sales Associate - Senior Living

South Setauket, NY

Jefferson’s Ferry, a premier life care community is expanding! This exciting redevelopment is planned for the heart of the existing campus and we are seeking an energetic experienced individual to join our team as a Retirement Lifestyle Counselor.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for meeting with prospective residents through telephone contact, personal appointments and will apply effective sales techniques which include a thorough discovery process, consultative and relational selling practices. Conducts and monitors measurable sales goals for calls, appointments, event attendance, deposits and occupancy for the community. Achievement of reservation and move-in goals.

Our Senior Living Sales Associate requirements are:

· Bachelor’s degree or 2 to 3 years related experience in sales, marketing, advertising or a service-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Must have strong organizational skills and proven consultative sales success.

· Three (3) or more years’ consumer sales experience. Senior living sales preferred.

· Must be independent and self-motivated to achieve high goals.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

· Superior customer service skills.

· Computer proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word).

· Familiarity with Matrixcare Marketing, a plus.
