Robotics Deployment Engineer

Location: Oakfield, NY
Full-Time, willingness to travel 10-20% of the time to North Andover, MA

What you’ll do

● Direct and maintain a growing fleet of state-of-the-art autonomous robots to perform experiments and crop care for a high-tech controlled environment hydroponic farm

● Develop experimental designs and standard operating procedures for autonomous equipment

● Collect operational data and produce analyses on system performance and opportunities for improvement

● Communicate new feature requests, system requirements, and performance improvements to company leadership and engineering R&D teams

What you’ll need

● Associates degree or technical certification in relevant technical field preferred but not required

● Continuing passion for learning about how complex electro-mechanical systems work and how to improve them

● Excellent communication skills, and proficiency generating documentation and analysis in tools like Excel, Word, and Powerpoint

● Experience with task management, project planning, and root cause analysis tools and processes preferred

● Exceptional attention to detail, you notice problems that others often do not and are meticulous about recording and documenting them

● Entry level experience with programming languages like Python, Linux computer operating system, mechanical prototyping, or electrical prototyping are a plus
