JOB DESCRIPTION

The Merchandiser/Sales Coordinator position will assist the sales team with all permanent and promotional POS items. This includes installing and replacing all point of sale items. This position builds decorative displays to increase volume and boost brand visibility. This position will clean draft lines for private clubs in the Jonesboro market area on a regular sequenced schedule and be the conduit between the private clubs and liquor store suppliers on draft needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handles all permanent and promotional POS items, replacing all dated POS making current with suppliers’ themes.
• This position will also pull vacation and/or relief routes for Sales Representative on an as-needed basis.
• Build healthy relationships and establish good communication with our retail customers and general manager.
• Leverage relationships with accounts to sell in new brands.
• Accountable for regular call frequency on assigned retail accounts, sell, gain distribution, merchandise, and stock product.
• Immediately communicate problems to O’Connor Distributing Supervisor by phone.
• Promote O’Connor Distributing’s brands at retail thru education, merchandising, inventory management, and remain the look of leader at retail to maximize visibility of O’Connor Distributing’s products.
• Manage multiple assignments and tasks, ensuring appropriate use of time, equipment, and materials.
• Regularly scheduled draft lien cleaning of Jonesboro private clubs- faucets disassembled and cleaned at every visit; washers inspected and replaced as needed
• Keg couplers brushed and washers and pour temperature checked at every visit
• Service records kept of on-premise schedule
• Complete draft and display surveys to gauge internal results versus the competition
• Adhere to O’Connor Distributing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Convey O’Connor Distributing’s policy of professional appearance, and conduct
• Organize and refill back stock, coolers, beer shelves, and displays
• Monitor inventory to ensure proper stock levels and rotation communicate opportunities or challenges out of stocks, out of code, placement

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 21 with a Valid Driver License
• Knowledge of customer service standards and quality standards
• Able to perform repetitive lifting of over 50lbs., occasional lifting of over 100lbs
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated; customer-focused
• Excellent relationship management and relational skills
• Commitment to O’Connor Distributing company principles and standards
