Uncle D’s, a restaurant in Roanoke, is hiring cashiers at $14/hour. The time commitment is roughly 20 hours per week for this position. The schedule will be discussed during interviews but our restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. We have several openings within that timeframe. We are closed on Sunday.

Uncle D’s offers homestyle, southern favorites along with Italian classics. We are located in the Oak Grove area of Roanoke at 2016 Electric Road in Southwest Plaza. We are in between Food Lion and Ichiban, right next door to the UPS Store.

About this position’s duties:

• Support our operation by greeting our valued customers and taking orders in person and over the phone.
• Help process online orders received through Square and DoorDash.
• Help put completed orders in bags and organize them for customer/DoorDash pick-up. Cashiers also help with catering orders.
• Wipe down tables, chairs, and surfaces in the front of the house. Sweep and mop floors. Clean bathrooms.
• Keep a clean workspace and regularly clean/sanitize surfaces.
