The Oregon Clinic is seeking an experienced, full-time Accounts Receivable Reimbursement Analyst to join our billing office located in NE Portland, near the Lloyd Center area. This position supports the Director of Patient Accounts and AR Manager to ensure the timely resolution of claims, accuracy of billing and subsequent payments or adjustments, and the maximization of revenue in compliance with Medicare regulations, providing meaningful data analysis and reporting regarding the AR Revenue Cycle. Primary responsibilities include managing payer contracts, preparing RVU modeling and other analysis of fee-for-service contacts, compiling statistical reports, reviewing and analyzing accounts/reports, and assisting in identifying and implementing process improvements to the revenue cycle to maximize reimbursement. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical, problem solving, and project management skills; with a strong ability to multitask, prioritize and communicate effectively. Starting pay range, based on experience: $30.05 - $40.66

Requirements:

  • College level coursework in Business and/or Computers level required; associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in the medical field and knowledge of insurance billing and collection procedures, including CPT and ICD-10.
  • Strong understanding of insurance and billing for various payers, and Medicare/Medicaid and private payer insurance programs as it relates to prior authorization of medical services, eligibility and insurance billing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products with advanced level Excel required; knowledge of electronic billing processes and procedures preferred.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, time management, customer service, and verbal & written communication skills.
