What does a Small Appliance - Refrigeration Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Our corporate Remanufacturing Center is looking for a Small Appliance Refrigeration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for rebuilding our vending, cooler, and fountain equipment.
Training Provided: Though we do require that all technicians have an EPA Type 1 certification, we will consider applicants who have minimal work experience. We invest in our employees and provide unique hands-on training over a six-month period. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge about basic electrical diagnostics on small appliances and continue to grow your skillset.
Work Environment: You’ll experience this training in our recently expanded 70,000 sq. ft facility outfitted with top quality OSHA approved work stations to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

- Provide and maintain all required tools
- Provide uniforms
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the remanufacturing process of our vending, cooler, and fountain equipment
- Preparing and disassembling all equipment for the remanufacturing process
- Proper recycling of all removed materials, testing all equipment for cooling, removing of refrigeration systems
- Repairing electrical power cords, accurately creating and completing equipment work orders in support of sales goals to provide equipment needs
- Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and coworkers maintaining a good and professional working relationship
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
- EPA Type 1 certification required
- Experience in manufacturing, small appliance, HVAC, or refrigeration preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds as needed
- Meet the equipment quality goals and standards
- Work in a team environment
