We have an immediate opening in our Manning, SC location for a recruiter!


Palmetto Yacht is looking for a reliable recruiter. The candidate will undertake reviewing resumes and conducting over the phone interviews daily. The tasks of the recruiter will include data entry, candidate analysis, on-boarding, and training assistance. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working in a face paced environment. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The success of our recruiters is essential in sustaining our rapid growth!

Responsibilities


  • Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.
  • Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
  • Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
  • Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
  • Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
  • Completing paperwork for new hires.
  • Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
  • Managing internship programs.
  • Keeping up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company.
  • Providing recruitment reports to team managers.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary

    Skills
  • Proven experience in hiring CDL-A drivers (TMC Experience Highly Desired)
  • Social Media posting/recruiting
  • Strategically Proactive
  • Audience Identification
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with Quickbooks and GSheets highly preferred
  • Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage

  • Administrative experience: 2 years Location
