In this role you will provide service to the academic colleges/schools/departments and to the current and former students at Marquette University, who depend on an accurate historical academic record and an office that exemplifies our mission to provide professional, effective and efficient service to all its constituencies with equality and compassion.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for entry of transfer course information into the student information system, including assisting in the development and implementation of improvements that automate and streamline the process.
2. Post student degrees in the student information system, including assisting in the development and implementation of improvements that automate and streamline the process.
3. Processing of transcript requests through third party software, including troubleshooting issues that arise in relation to system integrations and transcript delivery.
4. Processing of academic forms, including assisting in the development and implementation of electronic forms and related records processing within the student information system.
5. Support entry and updating of academic records information and data, as needed, particularly during peak times or periods where staff coverage is necessary.
6. Serve as liaison to the academic colleges, schools, departments to resolve and trouble-shoot academic policy and procedural issues.
7. Serve as one of the OTR liaisons to MU Central.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High School diploma required
1-2 years of office support experience in a college or university setting or 3 or more years of general office support experience.

Customer relations and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in handling of sensitive issues.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and not be hindered by frequent interruptions.
Accuracy and attention to detail and the maintenance of confidentiality when accessing privileged information.
Ability to respond and interact with diverse populations.
A team-player; dependable, trustworthy and a self-starter with a strong work ethic and professional connections.
Exhibit a professional style that is compatible with Marquette’s and the Office of the Registrar’s mission.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
At least 2 years of college.
3 or more years’ experience in a college records office.
Administrative experience with a Student Information System, preferably PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
Administrative experience with Perceptive Content/ImageNow, or a similar document imaging system.
Administrative experience with GT eForms, or a similar electronic forms software.
Administrative experience with Parchment, or a similar transcript request system.
