WORK WEEK SCHEDULE Monday - Friday WORK HOURS 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; occasional
evenings and weekends

POSITION PURPOSE
To provide behavioral interventions in the school settings and use ABA interventions to
teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors.
POSITION ANALYSIS
The Behavioral Technician will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction
protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism
and related developmental disabilities in the school setting. The Behavioral Technician
will collect data on programs, assist with parent training, and assist the Behavior Analyst,
Behavior Coordinator, and School Psychologist with clinical assessments as needed.

discretion of the EC Director. This job description describes essential job functions, but
does not provide an exhaustive list of duties that may be assigned. This person will be
required to perform other duties as assigned by the EC Director.

EDUCATION,TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree- Completion of a BACB approved RBT course and successfully passed the RBT

CERTIFICATION AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license according to
the State of NC requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
