Job Summary
We are looking for an R&D Mechanical Design Engineer (Internship) to join Flex Design Center in Milan.
In this role, you will be part of an experienced team. You will execute technical assessments, perform simulations and implement innovative and cost-effective solutions, from prototype development to full-scale production.
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- Work in a multidisciplinary team to develop the mechanical components of medical devices.
- Perform feasibility studies and build proof of concept prototypes for assessment
- Provide high quality technical reports supported by simulations and/or lab tests
- Investigate new technologies and trends with close relationship with vendors
Here is some of what you’ll need:
- MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- CAD tool competence (with preference for CREO)
- Great communication skills – explaining technical topics in a clear and compelling way
- Fluent in English
