For an important multinational specialized in integrated automation systems, we are looking for a:
R&D Manager
The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
- Defines project specifications; analyzes products or components of competitors and coordinates internal and external developers who operates on products.
- Manages projects in terms of both content and timing of implementing.
- Defines the specifications of products collaborating with other departments.
- Guarantees the support to Operations Dept. and Technical Assistance Dept., regarding the problem-solving connected to product/component.
- Manages the suppliers with whom the Company collaborates for product development and eventual project of codesign.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical / Automation Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in similar position
- Good knowledge of IoT, cloud, consumer electronics and connectivity in general, will be considered as a plus
- Fluent in English;
- Good knowledge of Office (Word, Excel, Access)
- Good knowledge of Assembler, C++ and .Net
- Good knowledge of the calculation tools (ex. MATHLAB)
- Good knowledge of the simulation tools, AUTOCAD 2D and Solid Edge for the designing
- Excellent relational skills, problem solving attitude and proactivity
- Good skills to work with and to coordinate collaborators in a continuously changing and challenging environment
