About us

Brookfield accounting firm needs immediate help managing approximately 20 business clients' payroll deposits/quarterly returns/W2’s, 1099’s. We do not do their payroll, but handle the after payroll deposits/reporting. Must be able to come in the office at times, flexibility to do some work remote. Must know QuickBooks and payroll taxes inside and out. Need help updating old QB software and setting up systems that can be managed. Must have flexible “solution oriented” personality, don’t get flustered or upset fixing current setup that isn’t user friendly as of now.

Also have some bookkeeping work for monthly statements and preparing for tax returns.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the company's payroll system for clients, including deposits and tax reporting.
• Communicate with clients as needed.
• Analyze payroll reports and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Prepare W2s, 1099s, and other payroll tax forms for submission to the IRS and state tax authorities.
• Bookkeeping for monthly statements and pre-tax return preparation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
