Job description

We are looking for a professional Quality Inspector that will continuously pursue perfection by striving to improve our productivity, product quality and timeliness of delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Approves incoming molds by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests

• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments.

• Document inspection results by completing reports/routers and inputting data into quality database.

• Check parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications using proper gauges.

• Follows all safety policies and procedures.

• Arrives to work, meetings, appointments, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled with a positive attitude.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Skills and Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, walking.
• Properly use feeler gauges, dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, Vernier calipers, and ultrasonic polisher.
• Demonstrated ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Average typing skills.
• Blueprint comprehension.
• GD&T Knowledge.
• CMM and/or portable arm experience.
• Strong attention to details and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
