The ROC Control System Coordinator (CSC) role is based out of the Irving, TX Office inside the Remote Operations Center. The primary responsibility is to coordinate control system related work requests from field operations. Typical CSC requests may include support for control system software and hardware, networking, communications, user management or desktop applications. This position works closely with the Remote Operations Center, Control System Integrators, Process Engineers, and Field Personnel. The ROC Control System Coordinator role is a developmental position for upcoming Control System Integrators.

Responsibilities:
Tasks will include, but not limited to the following:
Perform HMI and logic changes to support operations
Complete projects for the Remote Operations Center
Input Integrator Support Requests and maintenance work orders
Basic Control System Programming
Advanced business information system development (power BI)
Coordinate with IT Network on projects and system modifications
Work closely with all supporting groups/personnel for performance optimization and troubleshooting
Complete all Learn Share and Master Control tasks and assignments as they are assigned.
General IT Support for the ROC
May include other duties as assigned.

1-2 years’ experience in process programming
Experience with Siemens Simatic S7 -1500/1200/300/400/ET200 platforms, CTI, PLCs.
Experience with Simatic HMIs, Inductive Automation/Ignition HMI software.
Ability to program in multiple languages, including ladder logic, structured text and VB scripting
Ability to read, interpret and modify PLC wiring diagrams, Control Narratives and P&ID Drawings.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong technical and analytical proficiency with the ability to multi-task effectively and thrive in a team environment
Knowledge of ASU process theory and related equipment associated with the process.
Ability to effectively communicate through excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Proficient in organizational skills. Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects, and multi-task.
Comprehensive knowledge reading PFD, P&ID and PLC drawings
Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Power BI
Field Instrumentation and Electrical Experience
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Chemical Engineering, Controls and Automation Technology or equivalent degree
Work Environmental & Physical Demands:
The characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule and up to 50% travel. Typical hours will vary to meet the supply chain needs for this 24/7 production operation; however, normal staffing hours are expected to be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additional work hours may include nights, weekends and/or holidays, and will include On-Call coverage as set by the Manager.
This role will be performed in office environments as well as in industrial field environments. May also be required to work from a home location, which must be conducive to performing the role and duties, including virtual/video meetings.
While performing duties of this job it would occasionally be required to:
Be exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme cold (e.g. operating plant).
Be exposed to outside weather conditions (e.g. cold box valves, filling trailers).
Be exposed to high, precarious places (e.g. cold box, repair work)
Be exposed to high noise levels (e.g. Plant rounds, maintenance)
While performing duties of this job, would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, bend and twist, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
Job will require extensive daily usage of a computer, and other office equipment.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
Must pass background check and drug test.
Must sign NDA.
