Position: Senior Manufacturing Purchasing Manager

Reports To: Site Leader

Work Location: 412 Railroad Ave, Federalsburg, MD 21632 (Onsite)

Pay Rate: Salary + Benefits

SUMMARY:

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Purchasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing purchasing operations for a manufacturing company, with a focus on refrigeration products. This candidate would also have a deep understanding of Lean methodologies and experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and meet production requirements.

· Identify cost savings opportunities through negotiation and supplier relationship management.

· Lead a team of purchasing professionals, ensuring that procurement processes are efficient and effective.

· Ensure that all purchases are made in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the overall supply chain and inventory management processes.

· Manage the improvements of NetSuite ERP system for purchasing and procurement functions.

· Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that quality, delivery time, and cost targets are met.

· Implement Lean methodologies to optimize purchasing processes and minimize waste.

· Monitor supplier performance and work with suppliers to address any issues or concerns.

· Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to purchasing and procurement.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.

· 10+ years of experience in purchasing and procurement, with a focus on manufacturing and Lean methodologies.

· Strong experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems.

· Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

· Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage purchasing operations.

· In-depth understanding of purchasing processes, procedures, and best practices.

· Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to purchasing and procurement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
