Job description

Our psychiatric hospital is hiring Psychiatric Nurses! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both medical and surgical nursing, but possess a specialty in psychiatric care. The successful candidate will provide medical treatment and emergency care to patients, while also providing mental health services. The right candidate will also be compassionate and empathetic, as they will be responsible for assisting patients in rehabilitation and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric and general nursing care for patients with emotional, psychiatric, neurological, and addiction disorders.
• Assess, monitor and document patient status and progress.
• Maintain patient records.
• Provide supportive counseling to patients and families.
• Refer patients to qualified personnel when indicated.
• Coordinate activities of daily living.; Assist patients in meeting individual treatment goals.
• Provide supportive counseling to patients and families.
