Peoples Gas, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is looking for passionate customer focused individuals to represent the company as Seasonal Project Workers in the city of Chicago.

Job Responsibilities
As a Seasonal Project Worker you will be responsible for performing compliance and operations duties including Inside Safety Inspections, shut-offs, service crew work, and meter reading tasks. You may be assigned to any of our shop locations throughout the city of Chicago working a Monday-Friday or a Tuesday-Saturday shift. This is a seasonal opportunity, typically February – December and is subject to seasonal layoff. Use of your personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement may be required in lieu of a Company-issued vehicle. This position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement with UWUA Local 18007
The Business Unit operation hours are:
- Monday – Saturday 7:00am – 12:00 Midnight
Minimum Experience Required
Valid drivers license and 1 or more years of experience in the following:
- Manual labor using hand tools, power tools, air tools, or small heavy equipment
- Working with the public, preferable in a customer facing position
- Computer functionality such as operating a keyboard, mouse, navigating screens and data entry
