Job Summary


This position will be leading and managing enterprise-wide projects to support the MSRS Strategic Plan. To provide a high level of project management support to subject matter experts, the MSRS management staff, and project sponsors to support the MSRS mission. The incumbent will provide essential project management including: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing, such that a successful project outcome is achieved. This position supports the Executive Management Team as a project management consultant and advisor to team members.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years of project management experience that demonstrates:

  • Understanding of project management principles and continuous improvement tools/methods to managing and monitoring short and long-term projects.
  • Knowledge of research methods at a level sufficient to design and prepare qualitative and quantitative studies and reports and analyze results.
  • Skilled at using MS Office Suite programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and video conferencing software.
  • Experience working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field may substitute for one (1) year of the required professional experience and a Master’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field may substitute 18 months of required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional Certification.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean or other continuous improvement methodologies.
