Production Assistant Job Description

Overview

This position will communicate directly with homeowners, work closely with our residential production team, and admin team to help provide support for roofing projects.

Goals

The primary goal of the Production Assistant is to provide support to the residential production team. The Production Assistant will coordinate with the team's scheduler and reach out to the homeowners to inform them of their job's start date/time. Secondary responsibilities include invoicing supplemental wood bills, filling out and sending recycling certification forms, and any other documents that are required to pass all inspections to the appropriate municipalities.

Reporting

This position reports directly to the Production Manager: Mike Hetherington

Roles and Responsibilities

❏ Coordinate with production team scheduler

❏ Inform homeowners of start dates

❏ Submit all inspection affidavits

❏ Submit all recycling certification forms

❏ Schedule/check all final inspections

❏ Email completion certificates to homeowners

❏ Calculating additional wood costs for invoicing

❏ Purchasing, scheduling, and other production related tasks may be involved

Full-time

Benefits: 80 hrs PTO after 90 days

Starting Wage: $16-$18
