Summary

We are currently searching for a Preschool Director for one of our premier clients, Children of America (COA), located in Waldorf, MD. The Preschool Director leads the operations of a pre-school for age groups ranging from infant, toddler, pre-k to elementary for childcare, before and aftercare, as well as summer camp. You will manage and oversee all school employees including educators, administrators, and support staff, ensuring the highest quality early childhood education.
Responsibilities

• Understand, comply and work to exceed all regulations as directed by the state.
• Optimize student enrollments by delivering quality education, care, and customer service to parents and children.
• Lead a talented team and oversee the operations of the facility by using established processes, policies, and procedures that have been proven successful and which meet state childcare licensing standards.
• Supervise programs that follow the school’s philosophy, and educational goals.
• Continually increase productivity and profitability goals while remaining within budget and meeting performance standards.
• Develop and build relationships with parents and others in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree. Preferably in Early Childhood Education.
• A minimum of 2 years of management and leadership experience.
• An inspirational personality that attracts talented individuals to join the team and follow the vision and mission of the organization.
• The ability to make decisive decisions and exhibit sound judgment.
• Must possess technical skills in early childhood education.
• Passionate about learning and developing yourself and others.
• Computer proficient including Office 365 and school software applications.
• Must meet state minimum requirements/qualifications for the role.

Compensation and Perks
Excellent compensation package including $55,000 - $65,000 salary, bonuses, and full employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k), paid time off / paid holidays, free employee childcare, educational assistance, and more.

• Waldorf, MD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
