The Trust Center for Early Education (TCEE) is seeking a nurturing, creative, enthusiastic preschool assistant teacher to join our faculty! TCEE is in the heart of Coolidge Corner in Brookline MA, easily accessible by public transportation. With an amazing teaching staff who work together each day to provide an inspiring emergent curriculum for all children, TCEE is an environment where teachers can grow, learn, and become part of a wonderful, inclusive Jewish community. From our youngest toddlers to our 5-year-olds getting ready for kindergarten, our daily focus is on relationship-building, and the growth, development, and wellbeing of each child, as well as their families.
Hours of position: open 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours throughout the day
Salary starts at $45,000, commensurate with experience and education for 11 months (September - July or August - June). 10 and 12 month contracts also available!
Start date: June 20th, 2023, or August 21st, 2023
Job description:
Working with a team of two or three other teachers in a collaborative environment to care for children aged 2 years 9 months to 4 years old. Developing meaningful connections with children, co-teachers, and families. Building emergent curriculum, communicating with parents and coworkers, caring for the whole child. Prior experience with preschool age children and a valid EEC teacher certification preferred. Willingness to contribute flexibly and positively, and a desire for professional growth in a supportive, inspiring teaching community required.
