As a helper there will be an opportunity for staying on as a helper or starting as an apprentice in the NexTech Academy. We understand that not all helpers would like to become an apprentice. If that is your objective, please still apply!

Summary: This is an entry level position in Plumbing. The goal for our helpers is to grow to be a part of a program that is designed to educate and grow a service technician in the field. The program as an apprentice will last around 18 months. After the 18 months, the Plumber should be fully trained and ready to operate independently. General Duties and Responsibilities – (included, but not limited to):

• Good analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals
• Excellent customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectations
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner
• Valid drivers' license and clean MVR
• The ideal candidate is well groomed and has a neat appearance.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening requirements
• Teamwork and part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
• Emphasis on safety and observing all company procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items, carry ladders, work from heights or small crawl spaces is required.
• Candidate needs to be flexible and adaptable
• Willingness to learn and apply learned knowledge
