Seeking per diem physical therapy aide to join our RWJUH Somerset Sports Physical Therapy FLEMINGTON team! Possible full time position opportunity later in the year,

Great experience in outpatient, sports and orthopedic setting for those looking to pursue a future career in physical therapy or related field,

Responsibilities:

Assisting physical therapists with patient care such as assisting with patient transfers onto and off of treatment tables and equipment,

Maintaining treatment area and setting up equipment,

General housekeeping and infection prevention,

Retrieving equipment such as hot packs, cold packs, electrical equipment,

Assist in clerical needs of department such as answering phones and taking messages,

Qualifications:

American Heart Association CPR card required,

Excellent communication and organizational skills also required,

Basic knowledge of medical terminology a plus,

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required within one year of hire,

Expected Hours approximately 8-10 hours, 2 days/week, based on schedule needs,
