Sunday Evening Per Diem/Events Manager

Position Summary:

*** This position has a weekly schedule of SUNDAY evenings ONLY, from 6:15pm until 9:15pm. *** Applicants must be available every Sunday night year-round including holidays.

This role is responsible for representing the Florence Sylvester Senior Center to private parties that rent out the Senior Center evenings and weekends. You will be present on location at the event. Background check and Livescan required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for communicating with the party’s point person for any needs that may arise during the rental time. Ensuring the event is completed seamlessly.

A high degree of trust worthiness to secure and lock the facility after event. General stewardship of the facility throughout private events.

Represent Age Well’s Florence Sylvester Senior Center in a professional and courteous manner.

Execute the breakdown of any special furniture configurations post event and return to original map for the morning functions to be ready when the morning staff arrives.

Refill toilet paper in the restrooms if needed.

Ensure agreed upon cleaning is fulfilled at the time a private party leaves the premises. Document anything that will need to be resolved through the deposit in the rental agreement – cleaning or damage.

Other duties that may arise at any given time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Laguna Hills, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Events management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
