A state-of-the-art Pathology Laboratory in Los Angeles, California has an immediate opening for staff pathologists to join its team. The successful candidate must be Anatomic Pathology board certified or eligible. Subspecialty fellowship training in Cytopathology, GI or GYN pathology is preferred but not mandatory. We are looking for a team player with good people and organizational skills. Our team interacts with large GI and clinical groups. Strong communication skills would be a valuable asset for this position. Experience in GYN pathology is another focus that we are looking for. We have a full GYN service that includes, cytopathology, histology, immunohistochemistry, molecular testing and FISH testing.

There are no grossing responsibilities, however the pathologist may be asked to supervise and advise grossing technicians for complicated cases.

This lab in has gone through expansion, renovation and instruments and systems upgrades. We are continuously adding cutting edge technology to enhance our testing capabilities. Over the years we have developed best in class standardized diagnostic database and quality systems, which makes this a great opportunity for pathologists who enjoy excellent level of patient care and value quality. Pathologists who had just finished their training can benefit from the dedicated senior support that we offer.

· Board certification or eligibility in anatomical pathology

· Subspecialty fellowship training in Cytopathology is preferred, but ability to sign GYN and non-GYN cytology is required

· Interest or previous experience in Cytopathology, GYN or GI pathology are preferred

· Legal work status in the USA
