Job description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support to both our internal and external customers. You will work closely with our sales team, service technicians, and warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and professionally to all customer inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and delivery times.
• Process parts orders using our inventory management system and ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure inventory levels are maintained and appropriate stock levels are available.
• Provide technical support to customers as needed to ensure the correct parts are ordered and installed.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell parts and accessories.
• Continuously improve customer service skills and knowledge of our products and services.
• Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions and ensure all documentation is up to date and accurate.
• Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in a parts or inventory management role preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial parts preferred.
• Experience in a customer service or sales role preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
