We are seeking a Part-Time Weekend Client Service Representative to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all clients needing assistance
- Act as a liaison between owners and the medical team that is caring for their pet
- Handling client relations, checking in/out patients, answering phone calls, and maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby and exam rooms
- Work with all departments helping to organize referral scheduling, direct questions, and relay any further information or requests.
- This is an extremely fast-paced moving position and an integral part of a busy hospital with many different teams and departments
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Ideally seeking someone with a history or knowledge basis in veterinary medicine
- Strong customer service and reception experience
- Strong communication and personal skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to multi-task, have conflict resolution skills and be willing to move frequently in a fast-paced atmosphere

About Animal Emergency & Specialty Center - Knoxville
Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Knoxville is an AAHA Accredited Facility and the premier referral and emergency veterinary hospital. We have an emergency and critical care unit that is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We have a variety of board-certified surgeons and specialists at AESC who treat a wide range of veterinary orthopedic, oncology, thoracic, abdominal, and soft-tissue conditions. Our team includes over 20 compassionate and highly trained Licensed Veterinary Technicians, numerous veterinary assistants, other support staff, and supportive administration.
Our current equipment includes LigaSure, a high-def Storz tower with new laparoscopic equipment, Autocon III, Storz Ho-YAG laser, Synthes locking plates, ESF equipment, 16-slice CT scanner, modern ICU, high flow oxygen, ventilators, and I131 treatment center. In 2023, we will be completing our 20,000-square-foot specialty expansion and we will be adding Neurology, Cardiology, and other specialists to our team, as well as a new MRI scanner, CT scanner, linear accelerator, IR suite with ceiling-mounted fluoroscopy, and surgical suites measuring at least 18’ x 18’.
