American Protective Products is a small, woman-owned supplier of PPE and other lab supplies to the research world, and we are seeking a highly energetic part-time Marketing Coordinator to help grow our business.

As the Marketing Coordinator you will work closely with management to help drive brand awareness, drive website traffic, manage our websites, and create marketing collateral. Our ideal candidate is well versed in marketing strategies and website management. We are looking for someone who can bring new ideas to our company, work well independently, and take ownership of projects. With the help of management, you will take charge of the design and production process for a variety of projects including sales collateral, digital media campaigns, Trade shows, social media content, and more. We are looking for someone enthusiastic, and eager to help us grow our business.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Help Track and measure key metrics of all marketing initiatives including click and open rates of email campaigns.
  • Responsible for writing, designing, deploying, and tracking blast e-mails to customers and prospects.
  • Regularly update copy, images, and announcements on the company websites and maintain, update, and monitor social media accounts.
  • Develop marketing partnerships in the industries we work in in order to grow sales.
  • Maintain an eye for detail and quality on projects big and small, while communicating with the team to meet deadlines.
  • Work to find new exciting ways to market, advertising and recommend how to incorporate those trends into our plans to help us find new ways of reaching our ideal customer and be “memorable”.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong experience in digital marketing, consumer insights, social platforms, brand positioning, and marketing analytics
  • Professional level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, WooCommerce
  • Organized, detail oriented, resourceful, and willing to find creative solutions that will help us all achieve our goals.
  • Ability to change on a dime and move quickly to execute new, time sensitive ideas.
  • Highly collaborative.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Marketing or related field preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) or designing branded marketing assets with Canva
  • WooCommerce and WordPress savvy.
  • Ability to travel to our North Branford office 2-3 days a week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
