Responsibilities

• Responsible for efficient operation of designated tools/machines (table saw, bottle grinder, nail gun, hand grinder, power saw, weed eaters, tractor, forklift, and zero turn lawnmower).
• Responsible for supplying proper size pallets according to production needs.
• Responsible for maintaining necessary pallet inventory
• Responsible for sorting returned pallets, repairing as needed and return to designated area.
• Responsible for communicating with purchasing department as new inventory is necessary.
• Responsible for counting and inspecting new purchased pallets.
• Responsible for unloading new purchased pallets and placing in designated area.
• Responsible for loading scrap pallets and placing in designated area to be shipped.
• Responsible for maintaining property (mowing, weed eating, landscaping, hauling off brush/timers, repairing gates/fences, etc.) at the MV plant, VC, Cedar St, and Spring 2 & 3 sites.
• Responsible for maintaining hunting property (food plots, upkeep of deer stands, etc.).
• Responsible for assisting production lines as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified with previous experience.
• Must be trained and certified for operation of propane station.
• Must be trained and certified for operation of Ottawa yard truck.
• Excellent oral, written, organizational, and communication skills along with mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds minimum.
• Copious climbing, walking and standing required.
• Must be detailed oriented and energetic.
• Must be a self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
