The Robesonian is a Regional Newspaper/Commercial Printing facility located in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Job Description:

The Robesonian is seeking a passionate, full time, Pagination Manager. This position would be responsible for handling newspaper page production in our Lumberton office.

Responsibilities:

· Production and pagination of newspaper pages as assigned.

· Coordinate production with the newsroom staff

· Quality checking on final product prior to dispatch

· Provide set up support for templates and implementation of quality standards.

· Produce both print and digital ads from scratch. Inspect provided artwork for quality and press/web configuration.

· Offer and execute creative solutions for content presentation.

· Work with local editor(s) and sales teams to continually improve our publications.

· Utilizing digital software tools for graphic design, to create digital ads for both print and web, generate newspaper layouts, build special sections and newspaper page design.

Skills:

· Bachelors degree

· Must have experience with Adobe InDesign 5.5 and NewsEngin GPS (preferred).

· We put an emphasis on teamwork, accountability, problem solving, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills and writing.

· Excellent written/verbal communication skills

· Experience working in a newsroom or other fast-paced environment is ideal

· Ability to prioritize and think logically and methodically

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
