This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

• Support all tasks related to new product introductions and Technical Transfers in all aspects related to packaging but not limited to Packaging Instructions, Component Specifications, Technical Drawings, dielines, etc.)
• Support the Sr. Packaging Engineer as the First touch point and decision maker for commercial, supply chain, regional technical and shared services for site related packaging projects.
  • Collaborate with Central Procurement for PPV, supply or continuity related projects.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Quality. This would include auditing new/existing suppliers/sites, technology reviews, BRMs and component related issues
  • Collaborate with Artwork & Labelling teams (US/CA/LAM/ASIA) on projects related NPI and process improvements.
  • Support and interface with Central Technical and CMO teams on projects related to continuous improvement, supply, PPV or business continuity
• Provide technical packaging support in response to site PIRCs, Quality notifications, CAPAs and internal audit findings
  • Support Vendor Complaint Form investigations and work with suppliers for CAPAs.
• Execute key technical activities including trials, improvement projects, RCAs, validation activities where appropriate
  • Support/Lead process improvement projects on site, ensuring appropriate technical change control to deliver robust, sustainable solutions
  • Support/Lead design and development work in support of equipment selection, installation, and validation (including business process change) and support the standardization of manufacturing and process measurement technology on site
  • Investigate alternative new technologies for plant/equipment efficiency improvements and use technical expertise to influence equipment strategy to meet future site goals
• Support all Technical Packaging Related systems as needed
  • Review and approve artworks for primary, secondary, tertiary packs on behalf of the site.
  • Provide and/or load technical data (e.g. specifications, drawings, BoMs) into local or GMS systems required to perform packaging and/or manufacturing operations activities
  • Support site Technical Risk Assessments
  • Supports Technical in the creation, updating, reviewing, and approving Packaging Instruction Documents
  • Manage Technical Packaging Related systems such as On-line case file management systems, Artwork Management Systems, ERP systems, and other systems related to execution of this role.
• Support Technical Department initiatives and projects as needed.
• Work with other site functions to ensure appropriate technical capability is in place e.g., operational staff
• Adhere to all Quality Compliance Standards
• Adhere to all EHS and Safety Standards
