- Grow region sales and margins through direct sales efforts, branch inside sales, and driver sales strategies.
- Grow customer awareness through frequent social media marketing efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers at key AWG customers.
- Manage the efforts to sign existing and new customers to multi-year Product Sales Agreements.
- Develop, implement, and track sales/marketing programs and promotions for all locations within assigned territory. Responsible for results of programs and initiatives.
- Using information from internal financial reviews, identify and correct shortfalls in sales and margin and assist in maintaining acceptable accounts receivable percentages.
- Provide training and communication to Branch Managers regarding programs to improve competitive position and improve customer service levels.
- Monitor market conditions.
- Assess market potential of new and existing store locations.
- Prepare weekly call reports, sales budgets and reports, sales records, and expense account reports.
- Comply with all AWG company rules, policies, and procedures as well as Federal, State and Local laws.
- Establish and track sales goals for all teammates involved in sales strategies.
- Identify sales and product training opportunities and assist in identifying associates to attend such training.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of sales leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of most social media platforms
- Familiarity and proven success with various sales techniques and methods
- Ability to train staff in techniques to improve sales
- Ability to think “outside the box” and develop sales plans based on overall sales growth goals.
- Must have positive demeanor and the ability to motivate others
- Strong computer, math, and time management skills
