Diversity-Vuteq is an automotive supplier for a major automotive manufacturer located in Blue Springs, MS.

We are looking for a strong team player with order picking and light sub assembly experience, preferably in the automotive industry. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills. This position requires a fair amount of bending, twisting, lifting, carrying, and reaching to complete daily tasks, standing and walking for most of the day and repetitive movements. The job itself is picking, sorting and prepping a variety of raw auto parts to get them ready for the assembly line. Please note you need to be able to pick up, push and pull repetitively up to 50 lbs.

Hours: This position is rotating shifts and it is as follows

• Day: 2 weeks (Mon- Fri 6:15 am -3:15 PM) + mandatory overtime then 2 weeks on nights.
• Night: 2 weeks (Mon-Thurs 6:15pm -5:15 AM) + Mandatory overtime then 2 weeks on days.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Ensure Safety & Quality Rules are always followed
• Ensure work area is free and clean from debris
• Properly package and handle parts as prescribed
• Perform the required color/quality visual inspections
• Accurately record scrap and place the scrap in the proper location
• Understanding of the product, knowing the function of the product, and any potential product defects that can adversely affect the function, application, or overall quality of the product
• Keep accurate documentation during the production run
• Inspect parts during production run
• Always keep workstation clean and tidy utilizing 5S
• Perform other duties as requested.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma Preferred
• Experience in Order Picking a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.10 per hour
