Office Management/Staff Officer
What you will be doing?
In this role, the Staff Officer will independently perform a wide range of functions and tasks which require vision, leadership, and proficiency in developing, explaining, and implementing policy. Overseeing, planning, organizing, and conducting administrative and staff functions.

Rsponsibilities include administrative tasks, scheduling and coordinating meetings, calendars, and events; preparing and distributing Briefing and Read Ahead materials; researching and analyzing information to prepare reports, presentations, and papers; maintain office supplies, maintain files and folders, initialing equipment trouble tickets or replacement, and preparing routine correspondence.

Must work effectively in a team environment to assist the Business Executive, Staff Officers, and Leads in all related duties. Will provide coordination support for Continuity of Operations (COOP), Business Continuity, Planning (BCP), Space planning, and position management to ensure goals are attained.

As Information Officer will be responsible for maintaining office inventory of all admin and mission records; Office File Plan is in place; filing systems for hardcopy and softcopy records have been established; office personnel are trained on records management processes; and Records are being filed appropriately.

What will you need for this job?
TS/SCI with eligibility to pass/obtain Polygraph once on contract. At a minimum, a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or 7 years’ relevant experience in a related field:
  • Expert-level skills with MS Office, demonstrated ability to use PRISM, Defense Travel System (DTS), and other sources to inquire, process, and track actions and status.
  • Ability to extract and synthesize complex information to prepare briefings, read ahead materials and other documentation.
  • Briefing skills, project management, strategic planning, organizational skills, and resource management.
  • Able to meet schedules and timelines consistently with attention to detail and competency to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong Problem Identification, Analysis, and Resolution skills
  • Ability to perform as an Information Officer (IO) responsible for facilitating Records Management for the assigned organization.
Demonstrated experience in the following areas:
  • Professionalism and customer service
  • Interpersonal communication and customer relationship skills to perform as a collaborator on a team within, between, and across organizational boundaries
  • Time management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and briefing communication skills
