The Food and Nutrition Services Aide under general supervision, performs the functions of assisting with delivering and picking up of food served to patient care areas, sanitation of all service items to include dish room and other related duties including stocking, mopping floors, serving customer, inventory, assisting other team members as needed and outstanding customer/guest service relations. Assists with projects as needed.

Education/Experience

• Must have basic knowledge of mathematics and food handling.
• Minimum one year experience in a cafeteria preferably in a health care setting.
• Previous cash register experience preferred.

Specific Requirements

• North Richland Hills Department of Health - Food Handler Card obtained within 30 days and must be kept current.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Medical City North Hills is licensed for 164 beds, has over 300 physicians and 30 medical specialties. The ER has about 39,000 visits each year and is a Level III Trauma Center. Additionally, we are a Primary Stroke Center, perform spine surgery and joint replacements and have a comprehensive cardiovascular services department. Our hospital is an accredited Cycle 5 Chest Pain Center with a cardiac rehabilitation program.
