Job description

We are currently seeking a Skilled-Nursing Scheduler to join our team, interacting with other departments and completing scheduling assignments. This person will be handing skilled nursing patients only. The Scheduler should be capable of completing various daily tasks, such as conducting phone calls and corresponding via email, as well as organizing office supplies and maintaining a paper filing system. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and have experience working in an office-based environment.

LPN degree/certificate/experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate and evaluate the activities of a staff of nursing personnel.
  • Work closely with Director of Nursing and Nurse Case Manager to organize daily visits to patients homes.
  • Work with patients and nursing staff to evaluate, prioritize and schedule patient appointments to ensure that health needs are met.
  • Keep schedules for the entire skilled nursing department.

  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
