La Jolla Logic is looking for a Network Engineer with 7+ years of experience to fill a funded and immediate role. The location will be at NIWC Pacific Point Loma. US Citizenship is required.

The pay range for this position in California is $95,000 - $110,000.

This program focuses on advancing the current technology for cyber situational awareness across Navy platforms at NIWC Pacific, San Diego CA. This effort provides support for system engineering, product development, research, testing, hardware and software integration, software development, deployment of material and non-material solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and diagnose complex performance, security, and technical issues
• Develop and implement solutions across a wide range of technologies
• Implement and maintain DISA STIG requirements
• Ensuring network systems are compatible and in compliance with standards
• LAN/WAN troubleshooting
• Ensuring the network/transport layers of the common operating environment are compliant.
• Evaluating problems with workflows and network usage, organization and planning, and developing an appropriate corrective action plan.
• Developing & ensuring efficient application of change, configuration & release management processes.
• Defining and implementing document management & version control processes.

Requirements:

• Active US Secret Clearance at minimum
• IAT Level II certification
• 7 years of related experience and a BS degree or 10 years of experience with degree waived
• Thorough understanding of Splunk Deployment Methodology and best-practices for planning, data collection, and sizing for a distributed deployment and able to manage and troubleshoot a standard distributed deployment with indexer and search head clustering.
• Experience deploying, managing, sustaining, and troubleshooting complex Splunk Enterprise environments.
• Cisco Certified Architect or similar commercial enterprise network architect certification
