Ministry Coordinator

Description:

Our Ministry Coordinator position is a missionary position - local missionary rather than overseas missionary, focused on reaching the children in our 5 county area. Candidates must live or be willing to relocate to one of our counties (Marion, Hancock, Hamilton, Hendricks, and Boone).

We're looking for individuals called by God to serve him in ministry to children with CEF. The ministry coordinator will work with church partners, volunteers, teens, and children to accomplish our purpose....to evangelize boys & girls with the Gospel, to disciple them in the Word of God, and to see them established in the local church.

This individual should:

• know Christ as personal Savior and seek to live life as His disciple
• have a demonstrated love for Jesus Christ and prayer
• have an unquestionable passion to reach children with the Gospel

Ideally, this individual would have experience working with children, teaching adults/teens and/or public speaking, and some Bible College training. Fundraising or personal support raising experience is helpful. It will be essential to develop a support team - for financial and prayer support.

Primary Admin Responsibilities:

• Oversee active children's ministry clubs for designated area(s)/encourage teams and assist with issues.
• Promote ministry/pursue new church partnership for designated area(s).
• Secure ministry locations (schools and community locations) for designated area(s).
• Act as a liaison between CEF and church partners.
• Conduct training for new ministry volunteers.
• Conduct Team Leader meetings for new Team Leaders in for designated area(s).
• Help new ministry teams get started/ensure team is complete and has necessary materials.
• Ensure all volunteers for designated area(s) have completed CEF Child Protection Policy requirements.
• Assist in the facilitating Enrichment Workshops twice a year.
• Attend regular staff meetings.
• Attend our teen training and discipleship program - Christian Youth In Action (CYIA) training/assist with training, coaching, discipling students.
• Assist with facilitating pre-training and post-training for CYIA students.
• Oversee CYIA students teaching summer Bible Clubs/assist with teaching, if needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist with chapter fundraising events and build a team for financial & prayer support.
• Contribute to chapter newsletters and ministry updates.
• Attend staff retreat annually.
• Attend CEF conferences periodically.
• Keep home church aware of CEF ministries.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
