Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School seeks an experienced, collaborative, and energetic teacher to join the district for a position as Grade 7 ELA Teacher. Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School (AKFCS) provides an education to 1426 students in grades kindergarten through twelve, comprised of an Elementary, Middle, and High School. Monitoring and assessing of progress:
Use a variety of assessment tools and strategies to gather data to monitor student mastery of instructional content, improve instruction, and assess the comparative performance of subgroups within the classroom. Assist classroom teachers in the administration of all mandated state and local assessments.
Reflect on practice in collaboration with administrators and colleagues, monitor personal and professional growth, and pursue professional development in needed areas.
Perform relevant tasks and duties assigned by the Middle School Principal.

Qualifications:
Hold the appropriate valid Massachusetts Teaching License in the required subject matter at the appropriate grade level is preferred.
Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Current authorization to work in the United States.
SEI Endorsement.

Compensation:
Full-Time Exempt Salary Position in accordance with the established Teacher’s Salary Scale. AKFCS also provides a comprehensive benefits package which includes the following:
