Mental Health Therapist

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

Florida licensed clinical therapist in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Mental Health or Psychology, Registered Intern or license eligible therapist. One year’s experience working with sexually abused children and their families preferred. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred. Must have valid Florida driver's license, current auto insurance and be approved as a driver by HND's insurance carrier.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain sufficient caseload to meet the needs of clients and the agency. Meet outcomes and objectives of the assigned program area. Provide legal and ethical delivery, advocating for client rights. Deliver counseling services for individuals and families with a variety of mental health needs. Additional training in trauma counseling in accordance with the Children’s Medical Services Sexual Abuse Treatment Program available.

BENEFITS:

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

• Master's (Required)

Experience:

• therapeutic: 2 years (Required)
• working with sexually abused children and their families: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• LMHC, LMFT or LCSW (Preferred)
