Our company been retained to aid our client in recruiting a highly motivated professionals to serve as Licensed Clinicians for a well established behavioral system in New Jersey . PLEASE NOTE- the organization is seeking to fill multiple positions throughout the State of New Jersey. Currently there is a need in the following cities:

Here is what we are looking for: We are looking for qualified licensed mental health clinicians with experience working in outpatient settings and a client population that struggles with substance abuse issues. The primary responsibilities will include providing assessment, diagnosis and treatment of client. The organization's mission is to provide the most effective treatment for the clients it serves. The Licensed Mental Health Clinician works collaboratively with other treatment team members across a variety of disciplines internally and externally.

Job profile: To be successful in this role, the candidate should be extremely passionate about Mental Health and Substance Abuse Prevention. Furthermore, the candidates should have great organizational skills, as well as, excellent knowledge of ASAM and DSM-V criteria.

ILLUSTRATIVE TASK

  • Provide clinical oversight, treatment and diagnosis to an assigned caseload
  • Determine the appropriate level of care by performing clinical interviews and utilizing standard clinical assessment tools.
  • Ensure appropriate diagnosis in agreement with DSM V and ASAM criteria.
  • Serve as a liaison with medical and non-medical departments and enhance relationships with clients served, vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Work in collaboration with the Clinical Supervisor to update and amend treatment plans.
  • Document all counseling and education services, assessments, reassessments, referrals and follow-up in the client's electronic clinical record.
  • Participate in case consultation with other members of the clinical team.
  • Develop cooperation between physicians, nurses, and other clinical departments.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates should have one of the following clinical licensures: Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associated Counselor (LAC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor (LRC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Must have two years of preferably experience in addiction treatment or dual diagnosis programs.
  • If no previous experience with addiction treatment or dual diagnosis programs, candidates should have a LCADC or CADC, and dually- licensed with any licensure listed above.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of current principles and practices of behavioral healthcare, substance use and the mentally ill.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS

  • Candidates should have one of the following clinical licensures: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associated Counselor (LAC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • If no previous experience with addiction treatment or dual diagnosis programs, candidates should have a LCADC or CADC, and dually- licensed with any licensure listed above.
  • Candidates that are dually licensed LPC, LCSW, LSW, or LMFT + LCADC or CADC are preferred and will be offered the higher end of salary range listed below.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
