Looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and reliable candidate to join our team! Exciting opportunity to be part of a modern Urgent Care Center located in the Santa Clarita Valley!

Objective: Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant for Front Office

Reports to: Office Manager / Medical Director

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Greet patients, provide patients initial paperwork, and obtain copies of insurance and identification cards.
  • Answer incoming calls and route appropriately
  • Register patients, collect payments, update patient records, and verify insurance accurately and timely
  • Respond promptly to customer needs, provide excellent customer service, assist patients with follow-up appointments, and fulfill medical documentation requests
  • Balance daily patient charges (cash, check, credit cards) against system reports
  • Observe safety and security procedures; promote a safe and pleasant work environment
  • Ensure cleanliness of front and/or back office and patient waiting areas
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Must have a minimum of at least 1 year experience in a medical office

- High School Diploma required. Associates Degree/Certification preferred or cumulative experience- Must be proficient in the use of computer software (EMR, MS Word, MS Excel)

- Warm, friendly attitude with excellent patient interaction skills- Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, able to multi-task and work independently

Hours of Operation: Mon - Sat: 8am - 8pm; Sun 8am - 6pm.

Opportunity: Position includes weekdays, weekends, holidays.

Preferred Qualification: Bilingual (Spanish)

Job Type: Part-time
