We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to help support our growing team of medical professionals. The successful candidate will work directly with the rest of our team to ensure that patients are greeted upon arrival and managed in a professional manner. Our receptionists are often the first point of contact for patients, so we're looking for someone with prior receptionist experience who can quickly identify potential issues, take initiative and resolve problems.
Responsibilities:
- Transcribe notes from doctors.
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
- Answer telephones.
- Greet people in person and on the phone.
- Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients when they don't show up.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
