Health Choice Urgent Care has been proudly providing top-ranked patient care to Greater Atlanta communities since 2016. Medical Assistants are critical to the success of our clinical teams and crucial to providing fast, friendly, and affordable healthcare at our seven Health Choice Urgent Care centers. In partnership with Northside Hospital, Health Choice offers state-of-the-art onsite digital X-ray, EKG, and common laboratory assays.

Our centers are open 7 days per week, 8AM - 8PM.

Job Description

• Triage patients, take vital signs, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent care.
• Apply splints and wound dressings, collect and record the results of various laboratory
• Learn and practice advanced skills under the direction of our providers. You are trained and trusted with a wider scope of practice including injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and orthopedic care.
• Perform radiology imaging procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending provider.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and process all X-ray orders.
• Work alongside friendly providers, reception, and clinical teammates.

Position Highlights

• Competitive Pay: Start at $20.50/hr with time-based raises and multiple opportunities for performance and training-related promotions. Employees are strongly encouraged to seek additional promotions and $22.50/hr is easy to accomplish within nine months (often sooner).

• Flexible Schedule: Work three shifts per week with the opportunity for unlimited overtime pay (1.5x).
• Hours: 12-hour shifts, 8AM-8PM

• GED or high school diploma
• Completed a Medical Assistant program and are registered/certified (MA or CMA)
