Position: Mechanic

Are you ready to begin a career that allows you to use your skills to your full potential? We are looking to hire a candidate that is experienced in repair and maintenance for our fleet. Our vehicles include Chevy Express 3500 Vans, Nissan Vans, and Chevy 2500 Pickup Trucks.

Job Duties:

• Performs basic diagnostics, repairs, and reports on vehicles, small engine, agricultural and turf equipment
• Change and repair tires, install and service batteries, spark plugs, light bulbs, fan belts and other simple mechanical parts.
• On the road repairs as needed
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
• Provide your own required tools necessary to perform needed maintenance and repairs efficiently and safely.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to Travel 1-2 days a week and to be able to spend the night
• 1+ years of experience performing service repairs or equivalent degree
• Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Forklift experience a plus
